This is not something you have to spend lots of money to fix right begin with, Windows 11 just today got released to the Insider Dev channel. NOTE: If your PC fails one or more of these checks such that you can not easily fix that, there is no need to PANIC!! Windows 10 is going to be around, and continue to be supported, for four more years. Here is a link to a third-party tool that will check all the currently known requirements for Windows 11 and tell you what fails on your PC: ĭo NOT try to download this using MS Edge as it flags it as malware - which it is NOT - use a different Browser instead. You need to know EVERYTHING that your system lacks for Windows 11, not just TPM or what the MS tool tells you. If you don't have those settings, you can't install and run Windows 11. If it has TPM, your UEFI Security settings would show that. If it has Secure Boot, your UEFI settings would show that. You can not simply UPGRADE a laptop to use Secure Boot or TPM 2.0. So, if you have issues, you have to either contact Microsoft, or you can contact the community Windows 11 forums: (8) Windows 11 Forum () Since Insider versions are beta, we do not provide support for them here. Then, you will be able to download Windows 11 and install it. If you are NOT an Insider and want a copy of this, you need to join the Insiders group and sign up.
